Hi,
Please check the parameter settings.
Global instance memory (4KB) (INSTANCE_MEMORY) =
Self tuning memory (SELF_TUNING_MEM) =
Size of database shared memory (4KB) (DATABASE_MEMORY) =
We recommend you to enable the STMM, and alter the buffer pool as
automatic. For details, please refer to note#1692571.
1692571 - DB6: DB2 10.1 Standard Parameter Settings
You may need to increase the amount of instance memory available, so
that STMM has more room to adjust its memory areas:
Unfortunately, there is no
option to downgrade a DB2 version.
The options you have are:
- Create a 9.7 instance, and restore a backup taken on 9.7
* In this case, the rollforward cannot proceed across the version
boundary. It means that all DB changes that take place after the
migration to 9.7 are lost.
- Perform a homogeneous system copy with export / import
It would be beneficial to test it thoroughly beforehand if you have any
doubt on this migration.
Regards,
Aidan
