We started researching different technologies for creating interactive reports and HTML5 apps and we have started using SAP Web IDE because it seemed to be the best option for creating Fiori apps. Firstly, I'd like to point out that we are not using SAP HANA. We have a regular ERP system that has some OData services and what we'd like to do is consume those services and create beautiful graphs, charts, etc. However after initial setup we were unable to correctly configure ABAP Service Catalog. Multiple different approaches have failed after closely looking at documentation provided by SAP. Is it even possible to, using SAP Web IDE, consume OData services that aren't on a HANA system. If it is could somebody please provide an example config file with descriptions what each parameter means?
