Dear Experts,
My client has requirement for external calibration of equipment with serial number. The process is explain below
1. Create Serial number Profile for material
2. Create material with serial number profile
3. Goods receipt of material at storage location.
4. Goods issue to department.
5. Create task list of equipment with MIC, Sampling procedure and one operation with control key PM02 for external.
6. Create calibration order and assign task list to order
7. Assign material in component tab and tick on subcontracting indicator.
8. Release and Save order.
9. Create PO w.r.t. PR
10. Transfer posting to vendor (subcontractor) with movement type 541.
11. Goods receipt w.r.t. PO.
12. Result recording for inspection lot in QA32.
13. Usage decision.
14. Settlement of calibration order.
15. Business completion of calibration order.
But while doing this step at the time of saving order, I got warning message for maintaining PRSL procedure in Sr. No. Profile also while creating Purchase order w.r.t. PR I got another warning message for maintaining PPSL procedure.
So for above process I want to activate both serialized procedure PPSL and PRSL, to activate these I have to activate business function LOG_MM_SERNO. After activating this business function there will be any impact on system or not.
Please guide me.
